Wyatt Bowman Earns Highest Individual Score of the Event

Freshman bull rider Wyatt Bowman from Plains City, Utah, delivered a standout performance at the Odessa College Rodeo this past weekend, earning the highest individual score of the event with an impressive 85.5 points to capture the top spot in the bull riding competition. 

Representing Frank Phillips College, Bowman's ride electrified the crowd and judges alike as he demonstrated remarkable poise, balance, and aggression atop a challenging bull. His 85.5-point score wasn't just enough to secure a win — it marked the highest score posted by any contestant during the entire weekend at Odessa, showcasing Bowman's talent and competitive potential early in his college rodeo career.  

Bowman's achievement is especially impressive considering his freshman status, where newcomers often face a steep learning curve against more seasoned competitors. But from the first whistle, Bowman showed confidence and determination, staying aggressive in the chute and maintaining control through the full 8-second qualifying time that earned him the winning mark. 

The Odessa College Rodeo drew a competitive field of athletes from across the region, but Wyatt's performance stood out as a highlight.
