The Frank Phillips College Lady Plainsmen delivered a dominant performance tonight, sweeping Midland College 3-0 in an impressive display of teamwork and energy. From the opening serve, Frank Phillips controlled the tempo of the match, showing sharp execution on offense and strong communication on defense. The Lady Phlainsmen will be traveling to Clarendon College to face the bulldogs in which should be an excellent conference game. The last time Clarendon faced the Lady Plainsmen, the Plainsmen won 3-2. We were able to check up with the head coach of the Lady Plainsmen, McKenna Clement.Coach Clement shared her thoughts ahead of the matchup, acknowledging the challenge of earning a road win. "Going to Clarendon and getting a road win is going to be tough, but it is definitely something that we know we can accomplish," Clement said. "We will need to have a great level of focus, and we will have to play the game at our own tempo and pace like we did the last time we faced Clarendon."
