Softball Finishes Up Homestand, Just Miss On Region Tournament

Borger, TX: The Frank Phillips College Softball team finished up their season with a four game series against Howard College. The Lady Plainsmen won the matinee game on Friday (May 2nd) by a score of 13-5. The Lady Plainsmen, led by interim Head Coach Emily Martinez, narrowly missed on qualifying for the Region V tournament. Six sophomores were honored after Friday's game: Victoria Sanchez, Brenda Ramirez, Analisse Zubia, Keren Granados, Savannah Sanchez, and Alexis Chapa.
